Performance: ECU & Electronics
We
are suppliers of Link Engine Management Computers as well
as the Apexi Power FC plug-in engine management. Link engine
management computer replacements are available as a plug-in replacement for
the OE ECU, or as a wire-in management ECU. Link’s plug-in ECU replacements
fit directly into the original harness plug of your car. With these, there
is no mucking around with wiring all you need to do is remove your old ECU
and replace with the new Link. Link plug-ins are available for Hondas with
B18C and B16A V-tec engines; Mazda MX-5 and 323 1.8 Turbo; Mitsubishi Evo
1 to 7, GSR and VR4; Nissan (all GTR models), GTS-T (R32, 33 and 34), 300ZX,
200SX, S13 to S15; Subaru RS Legacy, all WRX Impreza; Toyota MR2 and GT Four.
Also available for the Porsche 944 Turbo.
We supply Link input sensors, tuning module (with LCD screen) and output conditioners to compliment the Link Management systems. All Link computers are fully programmable for ignition timing, fuel plotting, boost and idle.
For those looking for the best programmable ECU that Japan has to offer, the Apexi Power FC is the most user friendly and cost effective unit available for Japanese cars. The Apexi Power FC is a plug-in engine management computer that replaces the original ECU. The Power FC is easily controlled via its hand held controller – the FC Commander, which are sold with the Apexi Power FC.
If
your requirements are for fuel control only, Apexi makes simple fuel controllers
that are dash mounted and easy to use. The Apexi SAFC has
graphic and numerical on-screen display of engine revs, air/fuel ratio and
throttle position. For Honda VTEC and Mitsubishi Mivec engines, Apexi has
the V-AFC fuel and VTEC converter that is designed as a fuel
controller and VTEC controller. The Apexi AFC series are ideal for affordable
power tuning.
Another useful electronic tool from Apexi is the Rev/Speed Meter or RSM.
The Apexi RSM is a dash mounted module that can give your car’s 0-100km/h,
¼ mile, or any timed acceleration run and lap time. Or alternatively
you can use the Blitz Power Meter series, which ahs the benefit
of having an on-board dyno – giving you acceleration times as well as
horsepower readings.
If you prefer not to use after market controllers and engine management systems, then another alternative is to chip your car with a high quality chiptuning from Gizzmo Electronics. Gizzmo chips are well tested and give good power gains at very reasonable prices for most Japanese cars. If you have a European car, we supply and fit AmD performance chip tuning (please refer to the European section).
Gizzmo also manufacture launch control systems, shift-lights and VTEC controllers. These are all made to a very high standard and are well priced.
